Student Passes: The wind industry would like to cultivate the next generation of clean energy workers and leaders by offering free access to educational content throughout the AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER 2020 Virtual Summit. This opportunity is open to high school, college, university, and Merchant Marine Academy full time students. Students are encouraged to learn more about this emerging industry and the various and abundant job opportunities that will come with its growth. Registration Policies

Changes, Cancellation, & Refund Policy: Once a registration has been charged to a credit card, AWEA is not able to change the credit card used for payment. Should you be unable to attend, a refund, less a $100 administrative charge, will be made for cancellations received via email to at least 10 business days before the event. No refunds can be made after this time or for no-shows and registration fees cannot be transferred to other AWEA events. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the event. If you have changes to your registration including contact information or if you need to provide a substitution for your registration, email 

Badges: To receive a badge, you must register. Your name badge is your admission to the conference. Pre-registered participates are to pick up their badges upon checking in at the on-site registration counter. Badge sharing is not allowed. Registration is per individual and is not exchangeable between colleagues.

VISA Invitation Letters: Before an invitation letter can be provided, you must register for the conference and payment must be received via credit card, check (in US funds drawn on a US bank) or wire transfer. At that point, an invitation letter will be provided. Once an invitation letter has been provided, the remaining requirements of VISA application, necessary documentation, embassy or consulate interviews, etc... are the sole responsibility of the attendee. Should the VISA application be denied or not approved in time to attend the event, AWEA will refund the full registration fee back to the original credit card or by check if the original payment was provided by check or wire transfer.

AWEA Antitrust Guidelines: It is extremely important that association members, meeting attendees, and speakers understand that the provisions of the antitrust laws regulate their conduct at association meetings. Read AWEA's Antitrust Guidelines.

AWEA Event Anti-Harassment Policy: The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone at AWEA events. AWEA seeks to provide a conference environment in which diverse attendees may learn, network and enjoy the company of colleagues in a professional atmosphere. AWEA does not tolerate harassment of Conference attendee in any form. Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate of any Conference event. All attendees are expected to comply with this Event Anti-Harassment Policy at all Conference venues and Conference-related social events. Violators of this Event Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the Conference at the discretion of the AWEA Conference organizers. Read the full Anti-Harrassment Policy.

By accepting the Terms & Conditions during registration, you agree not to hold any trainings, receptions, client events, or other large gatherings of AWEA participants during times that conflict with the official conference sessions or special events without prior approval by AWEA.

AWEA reserves the right to refuse a new registration or cancel and refund an existing registration at our own discretion; or to eject any registrant from the event without any prior notice or refund if while at the event their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, dangerous, illegal or if they are found to be distributing unauthorized material.

Contributions to AWEA and fees for AWEA events are not tax deductible as charitable contributions, but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses.
