The WINDPOWER 2008 Conference & Exhibition is North America’s largest wind energy industry event of the year. Gathering in Texas, the nation’s number one market for wind power, attendees will learn about industry successes as well as what actions are required to expand wind’s contribution to the U.S. energy mix to 20% by 2030.  Over the past decade, Texas has installed more wind energy and transmission infrastructure than any other state in the U.S. and has become a model of how to make wind energy work on a larger scale.

WINDPOWER 2008 exhibitors – turbine manufacturers, component manufacturers (gearboxes, nacelles, motors, etc.), meteorologists, materials manufacturers (foundries, composites, etc.), project developers, transportation & hoist companies, and more – will fill the spectacular exhibition hall with a full array of products and service demonstrations. The hall will host several large wind turbine components, some of which will be displayed outdoors on Discovery Green, located right across the street from the George R. Brown Convention Center.

There is no better place to connect with the U.S. wind industry, learn the latest market developments and view state-of-the-art wind technology than WINDPOWER 2008. Be sure to get this event on your calendar today!
