Corporate Membership applies to companies that are involved in the U.S. wind energy industry. AWEA offers seven (7) corporate membership levels based on U.S. wind business revenue, each designed for a specific company's size and industry needs.

Entry-Level Membership is specific to companies not yet committed to the U.S. wind energy industry. This introductory level is valid for one (1) membership term before company is automatically upgraded to Corporate 1 level.

Utility Membership is limited to regulated utilities/load serving entities. There are three levels of utility membership Basic (U1), Working Group (U2) and Strategic (U3). Electric companies have the option to choose their level of membership based on the benefits they desire.

Academic Membership applies to educators and academic organizations with a non-profit status. They must also be either a degree-granting institution or an academically focused organization.
Academic Membership dues are $500 annually.
