Wind power is the world’s fastest growing energy source with the U.S. industry
expanding rapidly. Since 1974, AWEA has advocated the development of wind energy
as a reliable, environmentally superior source of electric power in the U.S. and
around the world. AWEA is where industry leaders come together to network, forge
relationships and stay informed and educated on industry policy, legislation, and
trends.
All AWEA membership sign-ups MUST be accompanied by payment in U.S. dollars. In
addition to checks and money orders, AWEA accepts Visa, MasterCard or American Express
credit cards.

command, and mail or fax it to AWEA at the address or fax number below. You may
also mail or fax the
downloadable PDF version of the form.
AWEA accepts all purchase orders but will not begin to send the Windletter
and Wind Energy Weekly or approve participation in AWEA committees until
payment is received in full.

Your Membership Level:

Associate Membership is based upon companies considering involvement with the wind
industry.

Corporate Membership is based upon company revenues related to their wind business.

Utility Membership is based upon installed wind capacity serving the company.

Academic/Non-Profit Membership is for educators/academics with non-profit interest
in wind.

Please note that the Business Membership level is based on your revenue
(not profit) that is wind-generated and US-based. Revenues generated outside
the US as well as those generated by non-wind sources are not part of the calculation
of the membership level.

We estimate that 27% of your dues will be spent on lobbying. Pursuant to IRS code section 162, this percentage of your dues is not tax deductible.
