This basic level of membership provides standard member discounts for registration at all AWEA events, subscription to the Wind Energy Weekly newsletter for all utility employees of the member company, and other basic membership benefits available to all AWEA members.

Option 2 - Utility Working Group Membership - $ 4,500 per year

At this membership level, the utility can participate in the AWEA Utility Working Group (AUWG) and other working groups in AWEA on Project Siting, R&D, O&M, and other topics related to wind power.  Utilities at this level also are eligible to participate in monthly webinars on wind power topics focused on utility needs, access to the new "AWEA Utility Resource Library" for the latest third-party reports and research to be used with your regulators or stakeholders, and access to a variety of other information and data -- customized for utility needs -- related to wind power topics. In addition, all utility members at this level receive special utility registration discounts at selected AWEA workshops and at our annual WINDPOWER event.

Option 3 - Strategic Level Utility Membership - $ 9,000 per year

For utilities who join at this premium membership level, they receive all of the benefits listed above plus the following additional "strategic level" benefits: seats on the Steering Committee for the AWEA Utility Working Group (AUWG) to determine the direction and priorities for this group, as well as seats on the AUWG Program Committee, which works with AWEA staff to determine the program content for utility sessions at WINDPOWER and other events during the year. Utilities at this strategic level will also receive quarterly "Utility Strategic Briefings" with the latest information on wind turbine prices, wind project costs, capacity factor trends, O&M cost projections, and other strategic information of interest to utilities. These quarterly briefings will be via webcast, but utilities will also have the option for one customized briefing for their utility staff and/or senior management (via webcast or in person) once per year.  Utilities at this level will have access to research and "best practices" for utilities related to wind power and monthly summaries of work being done by the AWEA Transmission Committee.  In addition, all utilities at this level receive special utility registration discounts at select AWEA workshops and our annual WINDPOWER event.
