Scholarship And Volunteer Opportunities

WINDPOWER Education Scholarship Program

Each year the WINDPOWER Education Scholarship enables several individuals who have passion and promise in the wind industry to attend WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition, the annual industry hub of information and business.

With the talents and dedication they bring, WINDPOWER’s scholarship recipients inevitably add to the advancement of the industry. They also offer the industry inspiration, given their diverse backgrounds and enthusiasm for the field.

A means of connecting the wind industry’s future members with the current state of play, the WINDPOWER Education Scholarship is made possible to through the generosity of the Suzlon Group as well as many individual donors.

The application period for the WINDPOWER Education Scholarship is currently closed. Please check back next Spring for updates on the WINDPOWER 2013 Education Scholarship, or connect with AWEA on Facebook and Twitter for the announcement of the Program opening.

Volunteer Program

In addition to the Scholarship Program, AWEA encourages those interested to apply to be a conference volunteer. Volunteers play an essential role throughout the event and volunteering not only allows you to meet and mingle with other wind energy industry professionals, it allows you to attend conference sessions and other events in exchange for your work. Please feel free to apply for the scholarship program and a volunteering position simultaneously.

Getting involved in AWEA will not only benefit the future of our industry, but will also help advance your career.
