AWEA Names Tom Kiernan CEO
WASHINGTON, D.C., April 25, 2013 – By unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) today announced that Tom Kiernan has been named as the organization's new Chief Executive Officer. Kiernan has served as President of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) since 1998.

Slightly Revised IRS Guidance on qualifying for PTC or ITC!
This week a slightly revised version of the start of construction guidance originally issued on April 15th by the IRS, was made available. A key change was made to the language related to binding contracts and liquidate damages. To be eligible for the PTC or ITC extensions, projects must have started construction prior to January 1, 2014.
