Optional Events
Enhance your experience at the Fall Symposium through participation in one of the following optional events. All of the events below require an additional fee and are NOT INCLUDED in the conference registration costs noted above.

Pre-Conference Seminar
Two optional seminars are being held on Wednesday, November 19^th for an additional fee as noted below.
Please note, space is limited in both seminars and may sell out prior to the event.

• Introduction to Wind Energy Pre-Conference Seminar:
  1:30 pm – 5:30 pm
• $150 to add to a Fall Symposium registration
• $250 if ONLY registering for the pre-conference seminar
  
• Utilities and Wind Power Seminar:
  restricted to electric utilities (load serving entities) only
  8:00 am – 5:30 pm
• $200 to add to a Fall Symposium registration
• $300 if ONLY registering for the pre-conference seminar

Please note: The Utilities and Wind Power Seminar is restricted only to electric utilities (load serving entities) and may be limited to only 2 registrants per utility. AWEA reserves the right to limit registrants for this seminar to those who qualify.

Golf Tournament

Guest Pass: Two different types of guest passes are available for spouses, significant others and personal guests. Wind industry professionals do not qualify for these passes and they cannot be purchased as stand-alone items. Click here for specific information on what each type of pass includes.

• Full Guest Pass (all food functions): $300 per person
• Limited Guest Pass (receptions only): $150 per person

Registration Information

A full conference Fall Symposium registration includes: 2 networking receptions, 2 continental breakfasts, 2 lunches, access to speaker presentation materials, plus invaluable education from experts in the wind energy community and critical networking opportunities. A one-day registration includes only the items on the particular day chosen during registration. Pre-conference seminars are NOT included in any registration and must be added separately.

Discounted registration rates end October 8, 2008. After November 14, 2008 you may no longer register by mail or fax. After this date, you must register on-site at the hotel and some items may be sold out by this time. Registration confirmations are emailed automatically upon registering on-line or upon manual entry of registrations sent via mail or fax. 

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to AWEA in writing via email, fax, or mail. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the conference. All refund requests received by October 20, 2008 will be processed less a $100 administrative fee. All refund requested received by November 12, 2008 will be processed less a $150 administrative fee. There will be no refunds made for cancellations after November 12 or for no-shows and registration fees may not be transferred to a different AWEA event. However substitutions are permitted for no charge. Email information on substitutions to conference@awea.org.

Thursday, November 20 from 7:30 am - 7:00 p.m
Friday, November 21 from 7:30 am - 5:30 p.m
