The AWEA Wind Project Finance & Investment Workshop was held April 19 - 20, 2006 in Houston, Texas. Approximately 200 registrants attended to learn both the fundamentals of acquiring financing for a wind project as well as to understand the state-of-the-art financial structures available in the market today. One unique aspect of this workshop was a focus on the synergies and advantages of combining a wind portfolio with traditional oil & gas holdings.
