Volunteer opportunities are available. AWEA offers complimentary registration to those willing to assist with the conference.  Students, recent grads, and wind techs are encouraged to apply. Please fill out the Volunteer Application here or email for more information.

Special Discounts:

Government Agency: A full-time employee of a U.S. or international government agency (federal, state, local or tribal). Government-supported universities or colleges, government contractors, and government consultants do not qualify. Economic development organizations should register under the Government category. Government Agency's receive a 25% discount off the prevailing rates (deadline dates apply)

Full-Time Student or Faculty: To qualify for the Student/Faculty registration rate you must be a current full-time student or faculty member at an educational institution. You must bring your institution ID to registration to verify your status. Full-Time Student or Faculty receive a 25% discount off the prevailing rates (deadline dates apply)

Poster Presenter: Registration for confirmed poster presenters receive a 25% discount off the prevailing rates (deadline dates apply)

: Registration for confirmed speakers and moderators at the event (limit 1 per presentation). Speaker/Moderator status will be verified.  Speaker's receive a 50% discount off the prevailing rates (deadline dates apply)

Non-Profit Wind Power / Clean Energy Advocacy Groups
: Discounted registrations are available to certain non-profit wind power / clean energy organizations that receive pre-approval by AWEA. This category is intended for specific wind power / clean energy advocacy groups as well as qualified environmental or energy related non-profits such as the Sierra Club, Energy Foundation or World Wildlife Fund among others. All 501c3 organizations will not necessarily qualify for the non-profit registration rate. Economic development organizations do not qualify for the non-profit registration rate and instead should register under the government registration category. Email with your full contact information and a brief description of your non-profit organization, including a link to your organization website, to request non-profit approval.  Non-Profit's receive a 25% discount off the prevailing rates (deadline dates apply)

Registration Policies:

Changes, Cancellation, & Refund Policy: Once a registration has been charged to a credit card, AWEA is not able to change the credit card used for payment. Should you be unable to attend, a refund, less a $100 administrative charge, will be made for cancellations received via email to at least 10 business days before the event. No refunds can be made after this time or for no-shows and registration fees cannot be transferred to other AWEA events. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the event. AWEA Antitrust Guidelines: It is extremely important that association members, meeting attendees, and speakers understand that the provisions of the antitrust laws regulate their conduct at association meetings.  For AWEA Antitrust Guidelines:

AWEA does not tolerate harassment of Conference attendee in any form. Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate of any Conference event. All attendees are expected to comply with this Event Anti-Harassment Policy at all Conference venues and Conference-related social events. By accepting the Terms & Conditions during registration, you agree not to hold any trainings, receptions, client events, or other large gatherings of AWEA participants during times that conflict with the official conference sessions or special events without prior approval by AWEA.

AWEA reserves the right to refuse a new registration or cancel and refund an existing registration at our own discretion; or to eject any registrant from the event without any prior notice or refund if while at the event their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, dangerous, illegal or if they are found to be distributing unauthorized material.

Contributions to AWEA and fees for AWEA events are not tax deductible as charitable contributions, but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses.
