Once a registration had been charged to a credit card, AWEA is not able to change the credit card used for payment.

If you have changes to your registration including contact information or if you need to provide a substitution for your registration, email no later than Monday, October 5, 2015. After this date, any changes or substitutions will need to be made on-site at the event. 


All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to AWEA in writing via email to or fax to (202) 293-2567. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the event. Refund requests must be received by Monday, September 28, 2015; a 50% administrative fee will be charged against your refunded registration fee. There will be no refunds made for cancellations after September 28 or for no-shows and registration fees may not be transferred to a different AWEA event. However substitutions are permitted for no charge. AWEA Antitrust Guidelines: It is extremely important that association members, meeting attendees, and speakers understand that the provisions of the antitrust laws regulate their conduct at association meetings. For AWEA Antitrust Guidelines:

AWEA Event Anti-Harassment Policy:  The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone at AWEA events.  AWEA seeks to provide a conference environment in which diverse attendees may learn, network and enjoy the company of colleagues in a professional atmosphere.  AWEA does not tolerate harassment of Conference attendees in any form.  Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate for any Conference event.  All attendees are expected to comply with this Event Anti-Harassment Policy at all Conference venues and Conference-related social events.  Violators of this Event Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the Conference at the discretion of the AWEA Conference organizers.   To view the full policy, visit

By accepting the Terms & Conditions during registration, you agree not to hold any trainings, receptions, client events, or other large gatherings of AWEA participants during times that conflict with the official conference sessions or special events without prior approval by AWEA. 

AWEA reserves the right to refuse a new registration or cancel and refund an existing registration at our own discretion; or to eject any registrant from the event without any prior notice or refund if while at the conference their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, dangerous, illegal or if they are found to be distributing unauthorized material. 

Contributions to AWEA and fees for AWEA events are not tax deductible as charitable contributions, but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses.
