Scholarship and Volunteer Opportunities
Scholarship Program
Throughout the year, Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, BP Wind Energy and Mountain Crane have sponsored various events that have helped establish the funding for the AWEA Education Scholarship Program. The goal of the education scholarships is to provide those that are interested in enhancing their knowledge of the wind industry an opportunity to attend WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition. This is an exciting chance to learn the latest from the experts in the industry!
The application period for an Education Scholarship to attend WINDPOWER 2011 Conference & Exhibition in Anaheim, CA is NOT yet open for applications.

Volunteer Program
AWEA highly encourages those interested in the scholarship program to also apply to be a conference volunteer. Volunteers play an essential role throughout the event and volunteering not only allows you to meet and mingle with other wind energy industry professionals, it allows you to attend conference sessions and other events in exchange for your work. Please feel free to apply for the scholarship program and a volunteering position simultaneously.
Getting involved in AWEA will not only benefit the future of our industry, but will also help advance your career.
