Clean Power Plan

Wind energy can provide a majority of the clean power that states will need to comply with the government’s new rule to reduce carbon pollution from electric power plants and it can save consumers money doing so. Thanks to its combination of low cost and zero emissions, wind energy accounted for more than half of the optimal compliance mix needed to meet the Clean Power Plan according to the most robust economic analysis to date by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
