I primarily work on WINDPOWER (AWEA's annual conference and exhibition) and oversee the logistics and registration team that plan and implement educational events. My role includes site selection, hotel and convention center relations, vendor facilitation, registration, sponsorship implementation, and catering.
To me, it’s important to work for an organization and an industry that I personally support. Renewable energy is a growing part of our future energy portfolio, so it’s nice to know that my hard work will help advance wind energy in some small way. Plus, the AWEA staff and our business members are top-notch, and it’s a pleasure to work with and for them each day.
Prior to AWEA, I worked in energy and environmental consulting. I hold a bachelor’s in Integrated Science and Technology, with double concentrations in Energy and Environment, from James Madison University.
